This is a dish that's ALWAYS in the buffett line durring this time of year. My son loves Broccoli, but considers this HIS special treat! Ingredients:
2 16oz bags of broccoli florets, thawed |
1/2 small onion, chopped |
1 10 3/4oz can of cream of mushroom soup |
2 cups of milk |
1/2lb velveeta cheese, cubed |
1 sleeve ritz salad crackers, crushed |
1/4 cup of butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. 2. In a small sauce pan, on medium heat, combine soup and milk, stir until disolved. 3. Strain thawed Broccoli Florets, well. 4. Mix melted butter and crackers, until crumbly. 5. In a medium casserole dish layer Broccoli Florets, soup, and Velveeta. 6. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. 7. Top with cracker mix, and bake an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown. |
