Great tasting tropical coconut bars that are low in fat also. Ingredients:
15 melba toast boards,ground |
11/2c organic rice cereal with strawberries and raspberries,like kashi |
1/2c butter replacement spread like i can't beleive it's not butter |
2c sweetened flaked coconut |
1 can(14oz.) reduced-fat condensed milk |
1/2c ea. dried fruit and choped walnuts |
2 squares of bittersweet chocolate(optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. In bowl,combine melba toast,cereal,butter replacement. Pat mixture into the bottom of greased 13x9 baking pan. Top with coconut.drizzle condensed milk.. Bake 20 mins or till light brown. Let cool 5 mins.. Sprinkle dried fruits, and walnuts evenly over the coconut;prss down. Let cool completely. Drizzle with melted bittersweet chocolate if desired. |
