Sambols are great with hot curries. Adds a nice texture to your curry meal. Ingredients:
1/2 cup desiccated coconut |
1 pinch paprika |
1 tablespoon hot milk |
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion |
1 pinch chili powder (optional) |
lemon juice |
salt |
Directions:
1. Place coconut in a bowl, sprinkle with paprika, salt, milk, lemon juice, chopped onion and if desired, the chili powder. 2. Mix thoroughly, taste and adjust seasoning. 3. Pile into a small bowl and garnish with sliced chillies. |
