A rich dessert topping for ice cream such as pineapple, chocolate, vanilla, or even for sponge cake. Ingredients:
14oz can sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup coconut |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
1t vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Toast coconut and pecans in dry skillet over medium low heat. Stir frequently to avoid burning and cook until coconut is lightly browned. 2. In saucepan over medium heat ,combine milk and butter until thickened and darkens slightly, stirring frequently. 3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans. 4. Serve warm. |
