These little morsels are absolutely delicious (my opinion, sure), and would grace any cup of coffee - or just for the sake of it. Suitable to conscious diabetics as it is made with sweetener. Ingredients:
1 cup skimmed powdered milk |
1/2 cup water |
2 tbsp margarine |
1/2 cup skimmed milk |
3/4 cup dessicated coconut |
1 dsp cornflour |
4 tbsp cooking powdered sweetener |
dessicated coconut to roll |
cloves |
Directions:
1. In a blender, mix well the powdered milk, water, margarine, milk, coconut and cornflour. 2. Pour into a pan. 3. Cook, mixing all the time, until you can see the pan bottom. 4. Add the sweetener. 5. Pour onto a lightly greased plate. 6. Let it cool. 7. Mould little balls the size of a small walnut. 8. Roll in the coconut to coat. 9. Stick a clove on top of each. 10. Put on small paper cases and serve. |
