I am a big date lover so these are one of my favorites. the serving size might not be accurate as I have a different amount everytime I make them, depends how big you make the balls. Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup dates, chopped |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups rice krispies |
2 cups coconut, shredded |
Directions:
1. Place first 6 ingredients into a heavy saucepan. 2. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. 3. Remove from heat, add vanilla; let mixture cool. 4. Add Rice Krispies and mix thoroughly. 5. Form into 1” balls and roll into coconut. |
