A family recipe I've made for years for dozens of people. Only one hasnt liked it sofar. Coconut floats to the top and crisps, while pie makes its own very good crust. Serve while warm, it will fall apart if cut hot. (oh, and use flaked/shredded sweet coconut in the bag) Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
1/3 cup melted butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 cup coconut |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup flour |
1 dash salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Melt butter then add all ingredients into mixing bowl. 2. Mix well. 3. Pour into greased 10 pie plate. 4. Bake 40 minutes 350F degrees. 5. Pie makes its own crust! |
