3 eggs separated |
1 c. sugar |
2 tbsp. cornstarch (rounded) |
1 3/4 c. milk |
1 1/2 c. coconut |
1 tsp.coconut flavoring |
Directions:
1. Beat egg yokes and add 2 teaspoons of cold water and beat with fork 2. Add sugar and cornstarch. 3. Gradually add milk 4. Cook until thick 5. Fold in coconut and coconut flavoring 6. Put in baked pie shell 7. Cover with meringue useing the 3 egg whites 8. Bake at 325 until brown |
