Coconut Cream Pie Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) frozen pie crusts, ready-to-bake, thawed |
2 cups milk |
3 eggs |
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut |
1/2 cup sugar |
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 tablespoon butter, softened |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
2 cups frozen whipped topping |
Directions:
1. Bake pie shell according to package directions; set aside to cool. 2. In a medium saucepan, whisk milk, eggs, coconut, sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, and salt together. 3. Cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, or until thickened. 4. Pour into baked pie shell. 5. Chill at least 4 hours, or until set. 6. Spread whipped topping over pie and serve. |
