I found this recipe on a can of a storebrand sweetened condensed milk. Ingredients:
cooking spray |
1 (18 1/2 ounce) package white cake mix |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened |
1/4 cup coconut |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
2 eggs |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/3 cups coconut, divided |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Spray a 9x13 cake pan with cooking spray. 3. In a large bowl, stir together all crust ingredients. 4. Spread in the cake pan. 5. In a small bowl, beat together the milk, eggs and vanilla. 6. Fold in 1 cup of coconut and the pecans. 7. Spread evenly over the crust. 8. Sprinkle the rest of the coconut over the filling. 9. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. |
