this recipe will cover a 3 layer 8-inch cake including in between the layers. this is the recipe that was used on the Italian Coconut Cream Cake. Ingredients:
1 package ( 8-ounces ) cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 tbsp. vanilla |
6 cups powdered sugar |
2 - 3 tbsp. milk |
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans |
1 can ( 3 1/2 ounces ) flaked coconut |
Directions:
1. beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in a large bowl until fluffy 2. beat in powdered sugar and milk...mix until smooth. 3. stir in Pecans and coconut 4. spread between layers and on the top and sides of the cake 5. cover and store in the refrigerator... |
