This is a great bread for Dessert, Brunch or anytime. Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1/3 cup cocoa |
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
1 1/4 cups milk |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. Grease and flour loaf pan. 3. In large bowl combine all ingredients except nuts. 4. Beat with spoon 30 seconds, stir in nuts. 5. Pour into prepared pan. 6. Bake 70 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. 7. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan. 8. Wrap tightly in foil. 9. Cool Completely. |
