This cake contains cocoa and..... coke! Hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
-2 and 1/3 cups all purpose flour |
-2 cups sugar |
-1 teaspoon baking soda |
-1 and 1/2 cups coke |
-2/3 cup butter |
-4 tblsp cocoa powder |
-2 eggs |
-1/2 cup buttermilk |
-1 teaspoon vanilla |
-1 and 1/2 cups tiny marshmallows |
-lots of whipped topping/whipped cream |
Directions:
1. -preheat oven to 350F
2. -in large bowl, stir together first 3 ingredients and set aside.
3. -in medium saucepan combine coke, butter and cocoa and bring to a boil over medium heat. add hot mixture to flour mixture and stir until just combined.
4. -add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla, stir until combined.
5. -gently stir in marshmallows.
6. -pour into greased and floured 13x9x3 inch baking pan.
7. -bake for about 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. transfer to wire rack to cool.
8. -when cake is completely cooled, spread on whipped topping/whipped cream.
9. -enjoy!
