This recipe, courtesy of Hershey, can easily be doubled and baked in a 13x9 pan Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted |
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup flour |
1/3 cup cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Heat over to 350ยบ. 2. Grease 9 square pan. 3. Stir butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl. 4. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. 5. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. 6. Add gradually to butter mixture, beating until well blended. 7. Stir in nuts if desired. 8. Spread into pan. 9. Bake 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. 10. Cool. 11. Frost if desired. |
