This is from TOH magazine. I haven’t made this yet, but I’m typing it up for safe keeping. 1-1 1/2 pound loaf Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup baking cocoa |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 cups flour |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast |
Directions:
1. In a bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggest by the manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. 2. Bake according to bread machine directions. |
