From Polly Klingerman's Kitchen Companion This is an easy and pleasing offering !! Ingredients:
1 pound (16 oz) lean ground beef |
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs |
3 table. taco seasoning |
2 table. cold water. |
1 cup sour cream |
2 t. mayonnaise |
2 t. salsa |
2 t. chopped ripe olives |
2 t. chopped green peppers |
3/4 cup crushed tortilla chips. |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 425 degrees F 2. Combine the meat , crumbs, taco seasoning, cold water. Press into 2 inch muffin cups (24 in all) to make a shell. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the filling, sour cream thru crushed tortilla chips. Heap a little mound in each meat shell. Sprinkle tarts with grated cheese. 4. Bake at 425 degrees F for 8 minutes. Serve hot. |
