I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
2 tablespoons soy powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon prepared mustard |
1 dash hot pepper sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly beef, egg, soy powder and salt; shape into 50 small 1/2 inch. 2. meatballs. Arrange in shallow baking pan (12 x 8 x 2 inches). Broil 4 inches. 3. from heat until browned; turn once. Pour off fat. 4. Meanwhile, in sauce-pan, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add meatballs and remaining ingredients. Cover; cook over low heat 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. |
