Coca Cola Glazed Kielbasa |

An unusual way to serve kielbasa as an appetizer. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 red onion, thinly sliced |
1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
2 sprigs fresh rosemary |
1 to 2 tablespoons dijon mustard |
1 tablespoon honey |
2 pounds kielbasa, cut diagonally into slices |
2 (12 ounce) cans cola (not diet) |
Directions:
1. In large skillet or Dutch oven, heat oil. Add onion, green pepper and rosemary sprigs. 2. Saute over medium heat until onion is softened. 3. Stir in mustard, honey and kielbasa. 4. Pour cola over all. Bring to a boil 5. Reduce heat to low and cook, uncovered, until liquid is absorbed and sausages are glazed. STIR OFTEN! 6. Remove rosemary. Transfer to serving bowl. 7. Serve with toothpicks and crackers. |
