With American football in full swing and the professional hockey season beginning this weekend, I wanted to share this cheese dip recipe to serve when your friends come over to watch the games. The dip has Roquefort, garlic, cheddar, Coke and Tabasco - you really can’t go wrong! Read more ! Ingredients:
coca-cola® cheese dip |
12 ounces grated cheddar cheese |
4 ounces roquefort cheese -- crumbled |
1 clove garlic -- pressed |
3/4 cup coca-cola® -- divided |
2 tablespoons soft margarine |
1 tablespoon grated onion |
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon tabasco® sauce |
Directions:
1. Place shredded cheddar into a large mixing bowl. Add crumbled 2. Roquefort. 3. Press garlic into bowl. Add 1/2 cup of the cola. Add margarine, 4. onion, 5. Worcestershire, dry mustard, salt and Tabasco. Beat at low speed 6. until 7. blended. Gradually add the remaining Coke; beat on high until 8. fairly smooth 9. and light. 10.
