A moist and tastey cake. Ingredients:

2 c. flour |
3 t. sugar |
2 sticks of butter (1 cup) |
3 t. cocoa |
1/2 c. buttermilk |
2 eggs beaten |
1 t. soda |
1 t. vanilla |
2 c. miniature marshmallows |
16 oz. can of coke w/6 t. saved for frosting ( i put 16 oz. because it calls for a kingsize coca-cola bottle...) |
icing |
1/2 c. butter |
3 t. cocoa |
6 t. coke |
1 c. toasted pecans |
1 box powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine flour and sugar in bowl, heat butter, cocoa and Coke to boiling and pour over flour and sugar. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, vanilla and marshmallows, beat well. Bake in 9X13 pan at ~350 for 30-35 minutes. 2. Icing: 3. Comine butter, Coke, cocoa - heat to boiling, pour over powdered sugar. Beat well and add 1 C. pecans- which you toast on a cookie sheet while oven was preheating. Spread on hot cake. |
