Our Cloud Cake uses your favorite white cake recipe with homemade Lemon Curd soaked into the now moist, lemony dessert. Simply frost Cloud Cake with sweetened whipped cream. Ingredients:
white cake batter |
2 cups quick and easy lemon curd |
sweetened whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Bake your favorite white cake batter in a 13- x 9-inch pan. Cool in pan on a wire rack 20 minutes. Pierce top of cake every 1 1/2 inches, using the handle of a wooden spoon. Spread lemon curd over cake. Cool completely; cover and chill 4 hours. Frost top of cake with sweetened whipped cream. |
