A creamy smoothie recipe suitable for vegans. Ingredients:
1 clementine, peeled |
200 ml cashew nuts |
30 -60 ml lemon juice |
1 teaspoon honey |
150 ml orange juice |
100 ml water |
Directions:
1. Blend the cashew nuts until they have the consistency of small crumbs. 2. Add the naartjie, lemon juice and honey to the blender and blitz until the naartjie has been completely mixed with the cashew nuts. 3. Gradually add the orange juice and then the water to the mixture until you have a smooth liquid. 4. Serve in a tall glass. |
