Classic Strawberry Shortcake |

Ingredients:
6 cup(s) fresh strawberries sliced |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
3 cup(s) bisquick mix |
3/4 cup(s) milk |
3 tablespoon(s) sugar |
1 pint(s) heavy cream |
4 tablespoon(s) confectioner sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees. 2. In a large bowl mix strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar (set aside). 3. In a medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, 3 Tbsp of sugar and butter until soft dough forms. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 8 spoonfulls. 4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown 5. Split warm shortcakes; fill with strawberries and top with whipped cream and strawberries. |
