Classic Meatloaf from Gramma |

My Grandmother gave me this meatloaf recipe. It is a twist on what I my usual recipes because it has a sauce! Perfect way to spice up a classic Ingredients:
1 lb extra lean ground beef |
1 cup oats |
1 cup milk |
1 egg |
1/4 cup minced onion |
1/2 teaspoon sage |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 teaspoon mustard |
Directions:
1. Mix beef, oats, milk, egg, onion and sage together throughly. 2. Pack mixture into 5x9 loaf pan. 3. Make a groove lengthwise across the top of the loaf and pour sauce into the groove. 4. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. 5. Let rest for at least 5 mins before slicing. |
