Yummy candy Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons water |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
3 ounces semisweet chocolate |
3 ounces bittersweet chocolate |
Directions:
1. Line pan with heavy foil or wax paper. 2. Combine butter, sugar, water & salt in heavy saucepan. 3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. 4. Continue boiling about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until hard crack stage (305-310). 5. Watch closely - do not let get above 310. 6. Immediately pour onto prepared pan & sprinkle with chocolate chips. 7. Break into pieces & store in airtight container. |
