Happy Easter Everyone. I made butter tarts yesterday and had forgotten how good this taste with tea. This is a good standby recipe. You can substitute the raisons with nuts or coconut. Ingredients:
2 large eggs, slightly beaten |
1 c corn syrup (i use roger's corn syrup) |
1 c brown sugar |
1/4 c melted butter |
1/2 c raison |
1/2 c quick cooking oatmeal |
24 mini tartlets |
Directions:
1. Blend first 6 ingredients. 2. Place tartlets on baking sheet. 3. Fille tartlets 3/4 full. 4. Bake at 350 F for approximately 25 minutes. |
