Ingredients:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 large onion , finely chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup american-style chili sauce |
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons steak sauce |
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. In a heavy bottomed medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and the garlic and cook, stirring often, until the onion is golden, about 8 minutes. 2. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer, stirring often, until slightly thickened, about 40 minutes. Cool completely. (To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week) 3. Brush onto food during the last 10 minutes of grilling |
