Remember Clark Bars? Well, I tried really hard to come up with something that would taste similar. Friends and family seem to think I came pretty close with this one. Ingredients:
1- 16 ounce package of graham crackers, crumbled |
1 cup butter, melted |
2 1/2 cups smooth peanut butter |
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar |
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk |
Directions:
1. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. 2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, peanut butter and confectioners' sugar. 3. Press this mixture into the prepared pan. 4. In a small pot, melt chocolate chips and condensed milk together over a low heat. 5. Stir until mixed well. 6. Spread the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter mixture. 7. Chill the cookie bars for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator. 8. Cut and serve. 9. Makes about 2 dozen. 10. ***If you try it, and have ideas that would improve it to taste more like the candy bar, please feel free to let me know!!!!!*** |
