This dish was on My Mom's buffet table every Christmas Eve as far back as I can remember.Its just plain yummy
Ingredients:
12 soda crackers
2 beaten eggs
1 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter
salt and pepper to taste
1 can minced clams
Directions:
1. Crumble crackers, pour milk over and let stand 20 minutes
2. Add butter to beaten eggs, salt and pepper to taste
3. Add can of minced clams mix again
4. Add softened crackers stir till blended but do not overmix
5. pour into buttered 9 in pie plate
6. Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes until puffed and brown
7. Serve immediately
