Clam Dip In Sour Dough Bowl |

This recipe dates bake to the Seventies when my girlfriends and I would gather monthly for dinner, after which we would sip on Kyoki Coffees (probably didn't spell that right!)The dip is still every bit as good today and is a fun and easy presentation. Ingredients:
1 loaf round unsliced sourdough bread |
2 (8 oz.) pkgs of cream cheese |
2 small cans of minced clams, drained |
1/2 cup clam juice |
1 tsp. salt |
2 tbsp. lemon juice |
3-4 green onions, minced |
Directions:
1. Slice top off bread to make a lid and set aside. 2. Scoop out bread. 3. Set scooped bread aside. 4. Mix all remaining ingredients. 5. Add to scooped out bread shell. 6. Put lid back on. 7. Wrap entire round in foil and bake 3 hours at 225 degrees. 8. Dip scooped bread into dip and enjoy!. |
