So you're craving some chowder but don't have the time to slave over a stove? Here you go. An incredibly fast, and simple chowder recipe - lose the cooking time without losing the taste! Ingredients:
1 (10.75 oz) can new england clam chowder |
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of celery soup |
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of potato soup |
1 (6.5 oz) can clams, minced |
4 cups half-and-half cream |
1/2 cup celery, chopped |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
1 tbsp margarine |
Directions:
1. Cook the onion and celery in butter (or margarine) in large pan. Add the clam chowder, cream of celery, and cream of potato soup, clams, and half-and-half. Heat through completely. 2. NOTE: Although Half-and-half is best, you may substitute milk. |
