Clafouti Mix is used like your basic custard for a pie filling - use any fruit that you like - spread some on the bottom, fill your custard (clafouti) then top it off with more berries and dust it with powdered sugar, if you like. Ingredients:
yolks 20 |
sugar 1 # 13 oz. |
salt 1/2 t. |
flour 9 1/2 oz. |
milk 2 1/2 qt. |

Directions:
1. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 3. Beat eggs until foamy 4. Add to this the rest of the ingredients, until smooth. 5. Pour over your fruit, then bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. 6. Top off with more of your fruit, and either top it off with whip cream or dust it with confectioner sugar. 7. Makes more than one - guess is good as mine. 8. Use any pie shell you like. |
