The perfect blend of citrus and spice for a taste straight from the islands. Prep time doesn't include marinating time. Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
2 tablespoons orange juice |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
2 -4 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 cup finely chopped onion |
2 teaspoons ground black pepper |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 dash ground cloves |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy-duty Ziploc bag or glass pan. 2. Add your choice of pork, beef, chicken or fish. 3. Marinate for at least two hours. 4. Prepare in your preferred method of cooking. |
