Easy and yummy parsnip side dish. Ingredients:
1 lb parsnips,peeled,cut in 3 spears |
1 c fresh orange juice |
1 c water |
2 tb butter |
1/4 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp black pepper |
1 tsp chopped tarragon leaves |
Directions:
1. Combine parsnips,orange juice,water,1/2 tsp salt and butter in 4 qt. saucepan 2. Heat to boiling on high. Reduce heat to med. Cover;cook 18 to 20 mins or till tender and glazed ,stirring 3. Stir in 1/4 tsp salt ,pepper. Top with chopped tarragon leaves |
