This salsa is versatile in that it can top meats as well as being a dip. ENJOY! Ingredients:
4 roma tomatoes |
2 large oranges; peeled, seeded, and chopped |
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced |
2 tbs fresh lime juice |
1/4 cup fresh orang juice |
3 packets of splenda |
1 tbs chopped fresh cilantro |
1 tsp salt |
1 large sweet onion' peeled and chopped |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until mixed thoroughly. 2. Allow to stand at room temperature for one hour. 3. Mix and serve. Refridgerate leftovers. 4. Note: can blanch tomatoes if you want. To blanch: bring small saucepan of water to boil. Drop tomato in for 30 sceonds then rinse with cold water 5. 70 calories per serving. 1/2 fruit 1 1/2 vegatable |
