A delicious combination of orange juice, chopped onion and Swanson Chicken Broth simmered together with chicken and and rice to make a delightful skillet meal. Very Good!! Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless |
1 3/4 cups swanson chicken broth |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice |
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped |
orange slice |
Directions:
1. Cook chicken in medium nonstick skillet over mediump-high heat 10 minutes, or until browned. Set chicken aside. 2. Add broth, orange juice, onion and rice. Heat to boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. 3. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook 10 minutes, or until chicken and rice are done. Stir in parsley. 4. For a special touch, sauté orange slices in a hot nonstick skillet until lightly browned. Serve over chicken. |
