A slightly sweet, slightly tart yeast bread done in the bread machine. (cook time is approximate, depending on your machine) Ingredients:
2/3 cup water |
2 cups white bread flour |
1 tablespoon dry milk, plus |
1 teaspoon dry milk |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon butter, plus |
1 teaspoon butter |
2 tablespoons orange marmalade |
2 teaspoons lime juice |
1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated |
2 teaspoons active dry yeast |
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in machine pan in order recommended by manufacturer. 2. Use medium crust cycle, or equivalent on your machine. |
