So easy, so good. Brown sugar and butter rolled up into unbaked pie crust or biscuit dough like a jelly roll, then cut into slices and baked. Good, oh so good with coffee! Children will love them too. Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened |
1 *teaspoon* flour |
cinnamon or vanilla |
unbaked piecrust or biscuit dough |
Directions:
1. In bowl, by hand, cream sugar, butter, flour (cinnamon if using) 2. Roll piecrust or dough very thin (can use refrigerated pie crusts) 3. Spread with sugar mixture 4. Roll up like a jelly roll 5. Cut in 1/4 inch slices 6. Place on cookie sheets or pans (greased if using bisuit dough) 7. Bake at 375 degrees until brown, about 10 minutes |
