I just watched this being made on 'Semi-Homemade' on FoodTV. It looks delicious and I have to post it. The original recipes states to use 1/2 cup of instant cinnamon-flavored cappuccino or coffee mix but I just couldn't get that through the Zaar editing process! Ingredients:
6 cups boiling water |
1/2 cup instant cappuccino mix |
2 ounces caramel liqueur |
2 ounces vanilla rum |
2 ounces cinnamon schnapps |
2 ounces dark rum |
whipped cream, for garnish |
cinnamon stick, for garnish |
cinnamon sugar, for garnish |
Directions:
1. In a measuring cup, add boiling water to instant coffee. Stir until completely dissolved. 2. Combine remaining ingredients, except garnishes, in a large pitcher, stirring thoroughly as you add each ingredient. Stir in hot coffee mixture. Pour into individual mugs and top each with a dollop of whipped cream piped through a decorative tip. Garnish each mug with a whole cinnamon stick and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Serve warm. |
