Adapted from the American Diabetes Association. rice, water, 1% milk , raisins, Promise margarine, sugar, cinnamon cvt Ingredients:
1 cup rice, regular, uncooked |
2 cups water |
2 tbsp 1% milk |
1/4 cup raisins |
2 tsp promise margarine |
1 tsp sugar |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, bring rice, water, milk, and raisins to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat, cover tightly, and cook 15 minutes on low until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. 2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over rice to serve. |
