This is a diabetic friendly recipe. Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice |
1 cup water |
1 tablespoon nonfat milk |
1 teaspoon reduced-calorie margarine |
1 g splenda sugar substitute |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, bring rice, water, and milk to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat, cover tightly,and cook 15 minutes on low until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. 2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over rice to serve. 3. -. |
