From . This is an easy recipe that uses puff pastry. Ingredients:
1/4 cup light brown sugar |
1/4 cup pecan pieces |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
9 ounces puff pastry, thawed |
1 large egg, beaten |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, pecans, and cinnamon in a mini-chopper and process until sandy. 2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. 3. Unfold pastry and brush with egg. 4. Spread sugar mixture over pastry. 5. Cut in half and then cut into 8 (1/2 inch wide) strips. 6. Twist strips. 7. Lay on pans, pushing ends down with your thumb. 8. Freeze 10-15 minutes, until firm. 9. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 10. Bake until golden, 18-20 minutes, rotating pans halfway. Cool on a rack. |
