Serve this over chocolate, peach, rum raisin or French Vanilla Ice Cream! You can substitute toasted almonds or pecans for the walnuts. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup toasted walnuts (toasted almonds or pecans)
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan combine: sugar, water, cinnamon.
2. Bring to boil, allow to boil for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in nuts.
