Ingredients:
1/2 cup egg substitute |
1/2 cup skim milk |
1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
vegetable cooking spray |
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon reduced-calorie margarine, divided |
4 (1 1/3-ounce) slices honey-wheatberry bread or whole wheat bread |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a shallow bowl, stirring well with a wire whisk. 2. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add 1 teaspoon margarine; place over medium heat until margarine melts. Dip l bread slice into egg substitute mixture. Place coated bread in skillet; cook until browned and crisp on each side, turning once. Repeat with remaining margarine, bread, and egg substitute mixture. |
