This is a perfect cake to to serve for Breakfast or anytime of the day Ingredients:
1 cup butter (softened) |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups sour cream (16 ounces) |
2 - 3/4 cups sugar (divided) |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons cinnamon |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. In a Large Mixing Bowl, Cream Butter & 2 Cups Sugar until Fluffy 2. Add Vanilla, & Eggs 1 at a time, Beating Well after each addition 3. Combine Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt; alternately with 4. Sour Cream, Beating just enough after each addition to keep Batter 5. Smooth. 6. Spoon 1/3 Batter in GREASED 10 Inch Tube Pan. 7. Combine Cinnamon, Walnuts, & remaining Sugar. 8. Sprinkle 1/3 of it over Batter in Pan, Repeat Layers 2 more times. 9. Bake at 350 for 70 Minutes or until Cake tests done with toothpick. 10. Cool 10 Minutes. Remove from Pan Carefully onto Wire Rack to 11. Cool Completely. |
