Cinnamon-chocolate Monkey Bread |

Use your bread machine for this easy recipe Ingredients:
2/3 cup milk -- plus 2 tbsps |
1 egg -- lg |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 cups bread flour -- (15 oz) |
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast |
1 cup mini-chocolate chips |
chocolate glaze |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla |
enough milk ( 2 plus teaspoons) to make a glaze. |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients into pan of bread machine except chips 2. Set Machine for Dough Cycle, Press Start 3. Add the chips at signal (beep) for adding nuts. 4. Check the consistency of dough add water or flour as necessary 5. When the dough is done, remove from machine, place on lightly floured surface. 6. Divide into about 32 chunks ; roll into balls 7. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter, dip balls in butter and roll in a cinnamon sugar mixture. 8. Place balls into a tube pan, I used my bunt pan... 9. Bake in preheated 375ยบ oven for 35 minutes, cover with foil for the last 10 minutes. 10. (Watch carefully, mine was done at 25 minutes) 11. Let cool in pan on rack for about 10 minutes. 12. Invert onto serving plate. 13. (optional) Drizzle on the cooled bread. 14. Mix all glaze ingrdients together |
