CINNAMON CHEESECAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Boomer Estate in Garland, Texas in 1984.
Ingredients:
16 ounces cream cheese softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick margarine
2 cans crescent rolls
sugar and cinnamon for topping
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl and beat until creamy.
2. Unroll one can of the crescent rolls and press into a rectangular glass baking dish.
3. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough.
4. Unroll second can of crescent roll dough and place on top of cream cheese mixture.
5. Melt margarine and pour over top of dough.
6. Sprinkle generous amount of sugar and cinnamon mixture over top of melted margarine.
7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes being careful not to over bake.
