Spread on a little butter or cream cheese and this make a tasty breakfast. Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup white sugar |
2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup buttermilk |
1/4 vegetable oil |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 tablespoons white sugar |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
2 teaspoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease one 9 x 5 loaf pan. 3. In a large mixing bowl,combine first 10 ingredients. Beat 3 minutes. 4. Pour into prepare pan. 5. Combine remaining ingredients and mix until crumbly. 6. Spead over batter. 7. Using a knife,gently swirl mixture through batter. Do not mix completely. 8. Bake 50 minutes or until inserted toothpick come out clean. 9. Serve warm or cool completely on wire rack. |
