These are incredible. Great holiday dish and goes wonderfully well with any pork dish. Enjoy. Very pretty and very tasty. Ingredients:
18 tart apples |
6 cup sugar |
3 cup water |
9 ounce package red cinnamon candies |
3 drops red food color |
Directions:
1. Cut cored and peeled apples in rings. 2. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color. 3. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes. 4. Add apples to syrup and cook until transparent. 5. Pack in hot jars then cover with syrup and adjust lids. 6. Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes. |
