Ingredients:
3/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup(s) whole wheat flour |
3/4 cup(s) splenda or other sweetener |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon |
1/3 cup(s) unsweetened applesauce |
1 egg |
2/3 cup(s) 1% milk |
3 small apples peeled, cored, and chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Lightly spray muffin pan with cooking spray. 3. Mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, Splenda, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large bowl. 4. In a separate, small bowl, mix together the applesauce, egg, and milk. 5. Pour applesauce mixture into flour mixture and stir until just blended (don't over-stir); fold in apples. 6. Spoon mixture into muffin pan. 7. Bake 25 minutes. |
